Editor Update: The Buffalo Bills PR provided an update that Tre'Davious White had been downgraded to out and he suffered an Achilles injury.

While the Buffalo Bills are up big over the Miami Dolphins, they may have suffered a major loss on their defense. Christian Benford left the game earlier in the game due to a shoulder injury, but in the second half, Tre'Davious White left early.

Fortunately, Benford was able to return but Tre'Davious White and the Bills may not be so lucky. According to Buffalo Bills PR, White suffered an ankle injury and did leave the game on the cart. He was surrounded by his teammates before leaving the field.

The initial thought was that it might be a knee injury again as the injury occurred away from the play on a fourth down where Ed Oliver ended the Dolphins drive with a sack. It was a non-contact injury and the same leg that White suffered a torn ACL back in 2021.

He returned midway through last season from that injury but it wasn't really until this season that he returned playing at an All-Pro level. Through four games, White has nine tackles and one interception, which he made last week against the Washington Commanders.

The Buffalo Bills secondary is certainly going to be tested against this Dolphins offense for the rest of the game. They were already without Jordan Poyer, who was ruled out on Friday, and now missing one of the most important players on this defense.

Hopefully, the injury for Tre'Davious White isn't too serious and he will be able to return at some point this season.
