Harrison Phillips

Harrison Phillips was another player drafted in the 2018 NFL Draft by the Buffalo Bills that unfortunately is no longer a member of the team that drafted him. He was a third round pick in that NFL Draft and had a slow start to his career but looked ready to break out in his second season.

Unfortunately, a torn ACL in the third game of the season would not only cost him the remainder of that season but he also didn't look fully recovered in 2020. That all changed in 2021 when Phillips was playing excellent football and arguably the best defensive tackle in the second half of the year on the Bills' defense.

The timing was great for him as he would earn a big contract from the Minnesota Vikings in free agency that the Bills just couldn't match. He would continue his strong play in his first season with the Vikings and was even picked as the most underrated player on the Vikings by Pro Football Focus.

The Buffalo Bills last year got good production at the position from players like DaQuan Jones, Ed Oliver, and Jordan Phillips. However, they presently don't have a long-term solution and Phillips certainly could have been a part of that.
