Buffalo Bills fans will love B/R analysis of Bills, AFC East rivals
By Brandon Ray
Remember when the Buffalo Bills were being counted out in the offseason? Whether it was because of their various roster cuts or even the trade of Stefon Diggs to the Houston Texans, the Bills were not being viewed as top contenders anymore. Well, it looks like that narrative is changed after the first two weeks of the season.
The Bills are heading into their Week 3 primetime matchup at 2-0 after wins over the Arizona Cardinals and Miami Dolphins. They proved that even when adversity hits, they can make a comeback win like they did against Arizona. Then just last week against the Dolphins, they dominated from start to finish and came out of Miami with a 31-10 victory.
Going into a Monday night matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Bills have turned heads and are back in the Super Bowl conversation. Yes, it’s been only two games but they have shown two different sides to them that most teams have not displayed.
Brad Gagnon from Bleacher Report gave 32 thoughts on all 32 NFL teams heading into Week 3. Not only did Gagnon praise the Bills in such high manner, but Gagnon completely shutdown the rest of the AFC East. Here is what Gagnon said about the Bills:
"They're doing their typical early-season damage, and there's little reason to expect the Jaguars to get in the way Monday night at Orchard Park. The Bills have become my leading Super Bowl pick, so I'm looking for a prime-time statement."
- Brad Gagnon, Bleacher Report
The Bills have impressed Gagnon so much that they are being labeled as Super Bowl favorites. That is something that Bills Mafia loves to see.
Brad Gagnon lifts up Buffalo's spirits, but not the rest of the AFC East
On the other hand, the only thing that makes it sweeter is seeing what Gagnon said about the rest of the AFC East. With the Miami Dolphins, all that was mentioned was whether or not the Dolphins should explore a Bryce Young trade with the Carolina Panthers. The Patriots were mentioned on how if they start Drake Maye now behind that New England offensive line, things could get disastrous.
Then finally, there is the New York Jets who just crushed the Patriots this past Thursday night. Gagnon is still not believing in the Jets or Aaron Rodgers. Gagnon mentioned how that the Jets have a tough stretch coming up in October and that stretch could easily show the NFL what type of team the Jets truly are.
The Bills are set to host the Jacksonville Jaguars on Monday Night Football in Orchard Park, the second consecutive primetime matchup for them before hitting the road next week for a Sunday Night Football clash with the Baltimore Ravens. Buffalo is looking to start 3-0 for the first time since 2020.
