There may have been some drama at the safety position with potential rumors about Damar Hamlin being on the roster bubble. Whether the Buffalo Bills believed this or not remains to be seen, but after the game Saturday it wouldn't make any sense to release him.

Hamlin would play in the first NFL game since his injury against the Bengals and looked exactly like the player who started a majority of the games last season. This is the Bills four safeties for the upcoming season and there is no reason for that to change.

There is no suspense here as the Buffalo Bills have one long snapper, one kicker and one punter on the roster. These will be the starters for the 2023 season.
