1.) Josh Allen needs to stop playing hero ball

When you have a big quarterback who can launch it down the field, there is an obvious advantage. On the other hand, when the quarterback tries to make a big play by chucking it down the field, it is a big risk-big reward type of situation.

In this game, Allen took big risks by launching the ball down the field towards the endzone and it resulted in two different interceptions, which could have been avoided. The first interception Allen threw on a third down could have been a scramble to try and pick up the first down.

The second interception was a lack of reading the defense and throwing a ball that should have never been thrown to begin with. On Allen’s third interception, rather than trying to pick up the two yards on third down, Allen threw it into double coverage resulting in this third turnover of the game.

Allen has had a history of trying to force the big plays in unnecessary moments and it usually backfires on the Bills. Moving forward, Allen will need to learn to just manage a drive rather than play hero ball when it turns into turnovers.
