2.) Ed Oliver gets 2+ sacks
The big contract extension for Ed Oliver has been worth it for the Bills so far as Oliver has arguably been the best player on the defense through five weeks. Everytime you look up on the screen when the Bills are on defense, he is in the backfield and near the ball if not already making a play. He has 4 sacks on the season and has been a big contributor in helping stop the run in critical third down situations.
Daniel Jones has been sacked 28 times (16 times the last two weeks). The Bills’ defense comes into this matchup with 21 sacks (with the leader being Leonard Floyd with 5.5 sacks). Much like each other week, the interior pressure that can be put on Jones could help Oliver make a play in the backfield to force a punt for the Giants and put Josh Allen back on the field.
