Buffalo Bills: 5 bold predictions for the 2023 season before training camp

Entering the 2022 season, the Buffalo Bills expectations, of themselves and from the national media, were sky-high. After failing to meet those expectations, the Bills enter the 2023 season under the pressure of exercising their playoff demons.

As training camp approaches, here are five bold predictions for the Bills upcoming season.

5. Damien Harris scores double-digit touchdowns

After failing to support their quarterback Josh Allen with a sustainable rushing attack in recent years, the Bills have spent a second-round selection on running back James Cook, signed Damien Harris and Latavius Murray to one-year deals, and traded for Nyheim Hines in the past year.

Taking into account the departure of former Bills running back Devin Singletary, one of the aforementioned running backs will need to fill his shoes this upcoming season.

While the Bills have a number of options for their leading role in 2023, including the promising second-year runner in Cook, it will be Harris who leads the team in rushing touchdowns. The former New England Patriot was disappointing last season while battling a number of injuries, but he's only two years removed from scoring 15 rushing touchdowns in 2021 — and he appears to be healthy.

With the Bills upgrading their offensive line this offseason, and Harris being so formidable at the goal-line, the veteran running-back will return to form this season and score more than ten touchdowns on the ground.
