2. 3 Buffalo Bills defenders record double-digit sacks

This prediction is contingent on the return of future Hall of Fame edge rusher Von Miller, but according to Miller, he's confident he'll be ready to play in Week 1 — and his impact on the remaining Bills edge rushers matters.

In an attempt to reconfigure their front seven, the Bills have invested a great deal of capital into upgrading the defensive line in recent years. Before the injury to Miller during Week 11, it seemed as if their investment was paying dividends. Not only did Miller already have eight sacks before tearing his ACL against the Detroit Lions, but former first-round draft pick Greg Rousseau had five sacks in the eight games he played alongside Miller's double-team.

If Miller can return to form with enough time to record ten sacks of his own, there is potential for Rousseau to break loose alongside recent free agent signing Leonard Floyd and former Top-10 draft pick defensive tackle Ed Oliver. Both have the talent to record a double-digit sack season in 2023, especially Floyd who's recorded at least 9 sacks in each of the past three seasons.
