How do the Bills prepare for new head coach Giff Smith?
One of the biggest challenges this week for the Buffalo Bills is that they have to prepare for a new head coach. After the Chargers embarassing loss to the Raiders 63-21, they fired head coach Brandon Staley and named Giff Smith the new head coach.
The Chargers have been struggling for most of the season and have lost several key players to injuries. This includes Justin Herbert, Joey Bosa, and Keenan Allen with the most recent injury being starting center Will Clapp.
Even with the injuries, this season teams have seemingly been able to bounce back almost immediately and play competitive football after a coaching change. The Raiders did it with Antonio Pierce after firing Josh McDaniels, the Panthers did it after firing Frank Reich and even the Buffalo Bills after replacing Ken Dorsey with Joe Brady.
There is an unknown with a new head coach because they haven't shown their gameplan or given the opposing coaches much to go on to prepare for this game which leads into the next question.
