The Buffalo Bills defense is hoping the pass rush is going to be improved this season with players like Greg Rousseau and A.J. Epenesa taking the next step in their careers. It will be a bit though for the coaching staff to have their full pass rush as Von Miller will begin the season on the PUP list and is out for the first four games.

However, general manager Brandon Beane seemed to account for this with the free agent signing of Leonard Floyd. The veteran pass rusher has had nearly 30 sacks over the past three seasons with the Los Angeles Rams and was a late addition to the roster after signing in June.

He probably will be almost exclusively a pass rush specialist for this defense and the Bills will try to pick their spots when to get him on the field to really utilize that skill set. The veteran presence should take some of the pressure off Rousseau and Epenesa with Miller out. However, even when Miller is back Leonard Floyd is still going to be a big part of this pass rush and should have an impact on the defense's success this season.
