1.) More opportunities for Deonte Harty on offense

The Bills signed Harty in free agency to a two-year, $9.5 million deal which basically pushed Isaiah McKenzie out the door to the Indianapolis Colts. When Harty was in New Orleans, he was a fast receiving option that helped open up the field.

Injuries have held him back in his career, but if he can manage to stay healthy, he can serve as a valuable gadget player in the offense. If the Bills manage to bring Isabella on the roster and have him focus on special teams, it will allow Harty to focus more on the offense in the slot or even out wide.

Having a wide receiver who could be playing in the offense and also returning kicks could limit his opportunities on the offense. Having Isabella take that pressure off of Harty allows Harty to not get injured on special teams, plus Isabella would have his spot for sure and it would be solidified.
