Deonte Harty
Another player who could see an expanded role this season for the Buffalo Bills is wide receiver Deonte Harty. Entering training camp, Harty was expected to replace Isaiah McKenzie as a gadget player in this offense but also be in the competition for the starting punt returner job.
However, with Hines out for the season, Deonte Harty could also be looking at handling the kickoff return responsibilities as well. In his career, Harty has 77 punt returns for an average of 9.8 yards per return and 75 kickoff returns with an average of 25.4 yards per return.
The Buffalo Bills will certainly practice returns for both and there is a good chance Harty can break big returns with the speed he has. However, he also should excel on offense with his speed and Josh Allen's arm.
The speedy wide receiver could end up being a pivotal part of the team's success this season and it will have to start in training camp.
