Buffalo Bills: 3 key matchups vs. New York Jets in Week 1 of 2023 season

After a long and what seems like a forever wait, we have NFL football back this week. The Buffalo Bills start their season off Monday night against the new-look New York Jets under the lights that will wrap up Week 1. The journey for a fourth consecutive division championship for the Bills will begin against a tough Jets team that only improved during the offseason. However, the offseason acquisitions don’t mean a guaranteed successful season.
For the first time since 2005, quarterback Aaron Rodgers will be wearing a different shade of green and will be coached by Robert Saleh, who could be coaching for his job this season. Meanwhile, Josh Allen heads into his sixth season with the Bills with the same head coach in Sean McDermott.
As the Bills start to prepare for their game plan against the Jets, there are three key matchups that Bills fans should watch for on Monday night. Both teams have strengths and weaknesses that will be displayed and will look to keep building off of as the season progresses.
