Josh Allen is entering his sixth season as the starting quarterback for the Buffalo Bills and will be starting off against a team he knows well, the New York Jets. He has played against the Jets nine times in his career and has a 6-3 record in those games.

However, this is the best Jets team he has faced as they now have a good offense to complement an excellent defense. In three of Allen's six wins, the Bills scored 20 or fewer points and with Aaron Rodgers on the other side, they will probably need to score more than in previous games.

While the Bills will want to put points on the board, I expect the game plan to be to take what the defense will give them. The focus will be to stay ahead in down and distance and not necessarily lean on the big plays. With that game plan in mind, these are three bold predictions for Josh Allen in Week 1 against the New York Jets.
