Bills Strongest Position Group: Offensive Line

What seemed to be one of the top weaknesses is now one of the Bills' stronger groups. Dion Dawkins had his best year as a pro, Spencer Brown took a big step, and O'Cyrus Torrence was solid as a rookie. The loss of Mitch Morse may hurt a little, but he was getting much older, with his contract dampening the cap.

The Bills moved Connor McGovern to center and David Edwards to take McGovern's place. The Bills also picked up some depth pieces in free agency, including an experienced starter in La'el Collins. The Bills added some pieces from the draft, Sedrick Van Pran-Granger, Tylan Grable, and Travis Clayton.

There may even be a time when Van Pran-Granger takes the center spot, as many draft analysts saw this pick as a steal in the fifth round, as he was viewed as an early fourth-round pick. The center isn't very versatile on the offensive line, which is one of the reasons why he fell, but he's started for three years for the powerhouse at Georgia and may look to steal that center position in the future.

Bills Strongest Position Group: Tight Ends

Unsurprisingly the Bills didn't try to improve this positional group, as they already have two pro-bowl-caliber players. Dalton Kincaid is looking to improve his already impressive skill set, and Dawson Knox will help the Bills as an all-around blocker and pass catcher. Let's not forget about Quintin Morris, who held his own in 2023 when Knox was out throughout the season and has solidified the third spot on the depth chart.

Buffalo Bills Strongest Position Group: Interior Defensive line

DaQuan Jones and Ed Oliver wreaked havoc when those two lined up next to each other. Before Jones' injury in 2023, he was on pace for double-digit sacks and tackle for losses, along with Ed Oliver having the best season of his career. Now the Bills drafted another young buck to learn from them in DeWayne Carter, who can help bring the high motor to the interior.
