Ruben Brown - Left Guard
Ruben Brown was drafted by the Buffalo Bills in the first round of the 1995 NFL Draft, selected with the 14th overall pick. Brown played nine seasons with the Bills from 1995 until his final season with the team in 2003. He signed a free agent deal with the Chicago Bears in 2004 and continued his career there until his retirement after the 2007 season.
In his nine seasons with the Bills, he earned Pro Bowl honors every year other than his rookie year. He also earned one more Pro Bowl nod with the Bears in 2006. He was voted to four second-team All-Pro rosters as well. He played an incredible 181 games and even more impressive, started every single game of his career.
Brown spent his college days playing tackle for the Pittsburgh Panthers from 1992 to 1994 and was named All-Big East all three years.
Brown was instrumental in his charity work, receiving numerous humanitarian awards, including a three-time Buffalo Bills Walter Payton Man of the Year. Like the others on this list, he was elected to the Buffalo Bills 50th Anniversary team, as well as being elected to the Greater Buffalo Sports Hall of Fame, becoming the 27th Buffalo Bill to receive this honor.
