Bleacher Report names most exciting Buffalo Bills undrafted rookie free agent

Every year there is one or two, if you're lucky more, undrafted rookie free agents that make some noise in camp and earn a spot on the roster or practice squad. Bleacher Report names one such player with the Buffalo Bills.

The Buffalo Bills added 12 rookie free agents this offseason, who will compete for a spot on the Bills roster, or at least a place on the practice squad. We've already had a chance to get a glimpse of them through the rookie minicamp and over the last couple of weeks with OTAs. Once OTAs are complete, we won't see them or any players again until late July, when training camp opens.

NFL history is littered with some greats that went undrafted, such as quarterbacks Kurt Warner and Warren Moon, or how about one of the greatest defensive backs in league history, Dick "Night Train" Lane? There are some great ones no doubt. The Bills have hit on a few over their history as well, but I don't want to get too deep into that, since I'll be revealing my top five greatest undrafted Bills rookies later in the week. For now, we have Bleacher Report's Brent Sobleski naming who he thinks is the most exciting UDFA on this year's Bills team, and it's guard Keaton Bills.

Bills played his college ball at Utah and was a fixture on their offensive line for three years. The coolest thing about him though, his name is perfect, and he wears the number 60, which happens to be the year the Bills began playing football. If there ever was a player that has to make the roster, this is the guy. He is 6'4" and weighs 321 pounds, and brings a ton of experience. He was a Pac-12 All-Conference honorable mention two years in a row in 2022 and 2023, and of course, a team captain, which Brandon Beane seemed to target in this year's draft. Sobleski isn't the only one at Bleacher Report who is high on Bills either. Fellow writer Ryan Fowler deemed Bills the most likely UDFA to make the team. You can never have too much talent and depth on the offensive line, so let's hope he proves these guys right and makes the team.
