The Buffalo Bills got back on track in Week 11, taking down the New York Jets on Sunday to get back in the hunt for an AFC Playoff spot. Now, they need to thrive in a tough gauntlet as their next three games come against the Eagles, Chiefs, and Cowboys.

The first of which will be a showdown against the team with the best team in the NFL, the Philadelphia Eagles. Can the Bills pull off a pivotal upset? I think they can.

Bills vs. Eagles key players to watch

Buffalo Bills

Khalil Shakir: The Bills second-year receiver is slowly starting to take over as the No. 2 wideout for the Buffalo Bills, having played over 70% of offensive snaps in his last three games and coming off a three reception, 115 yard, and one touchdown game against the Jets in Week 11. Now, he and the Bills get to face an Eagles secondary that not only has a ton of issues, but also ranks 31st in the NFL in opponent passing touchdowns per game, giving up an average of 2.1.

Philadelphia Eagles

D'Andre Swift: Teams have had a ton of success running the football against the Bills this season. They've allowed 4.5 yards per carry which is the fourth most in the NFL. If the Eagles get their run game going on Sunday, they're going to be tough to beat.

Bills vs. Eagles prediction and pick

I don't care that the Eagles beat the Chiefs on Monday Night Football, I stand by my take that they're a good but not great football team this year. This game is a fascinating matchup between a team in the Bills whose record is way worse than it should be when you look at their metrics and an Eagles team whose record is way better than it should be when you look at their metrics.

For example, the Bills are sixth in Net Yards per Play (+0.8), third in EPA per play, and 12th in opponent EPA per play. Meanwhile, the Eagles are 11th in Net Yards per Play, fifth in EPA per play, and 19th in opponent EPA per play.

If we did a blind resume between these two teams, didn't tell you which was which but showed you each of their analytics and metrics, I bet you'd point to the Bills as being the better team. I'm going to back that claim up with a bet on they moneyline in Week 12.
