By Reed Wallach
The Buffalo Bills take the trip to Philadelphia to take on the Eagles, who boast the best record in the NFL followign a win against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Both offenses are led by two of the most dynamic quarterbacks in the NFL, each known for their respective ability to find the end zone. Best anytime touchdown scorer for Bills vs. Eagles
- Josh Allen (+135)
- Khalil Shakir (+380)
- Jalen Hurts (-140)
Josh Allen (+135)
Allen streak of consecutive games with a rushing touchdown ended last week after running one in in four straight games, but I think we see him find paydirt again against the Eagles.
This is of course a high leverage game, and Allen tends to keep the rock himself more against high level competitin. This season, against teams over .500 at the time of the game, Allen has ran in a touchdown in all three of them. Those games were the Dolphins, Jaguars and Bengals matchups.
Allen has been prone to turnovers, but is reliable with the ball in his hands. From in close, I think Allen is the primary rushing threat.
Khalil Shakir (+380)
Shakir continues to be the third wide receiver in the Bills offense, but he's playing about three-quarters of the snaps and is starting to see his production go up , getting at least four targets in four of his last five games, including a 81 touchdown grab last week against the New York Jets.
The Boise State product is seeing the field too often and is starting to see the ball more, I'll continue to play on usage and take this big number.
Jalen Hurts (-140)
If we are going to bet on an Eagles player to score, it simply has to be Hurts. The master of the 'Brotherly Shove' has scored a touchdown in seven of 10 games this season, and has ran the ball at least eight times in all but one game.
The Bills defense still has concerns, right around the league average in EPA/Play, so I do think Philadelphia will be able to move the ball, and if they get in close, it'll be all Hurts.
