The Buffalo Bills went from looking like they had a slim chance to making the playoffs to not only have a good chance to secure a postseason berth, but being very much alive in the race for the AFC East crown.

In Week 16, their only focus is to not completely blow it against a Los Angeles Chargers team that has fallen apart this season. They recently fired their head coach and Justin Herbert is sidelined with an injury and as a result the Bills are set as massive favorites on Saturday night.

Best Prop Bets for Bills vs. Chargers

  • James Cook OVER 94.5 rushing + receiving yards
  • Josh Allen OVER 243.5 passing yards
  • Austin Ekeler UNDER 38.5 rushing yards

James Cook OVER 94.5 rushing + receiving yards

It seems like the Bills finally realized the weapon they have in James Cook, riding him from start to finish against the Cowboys. He racked up 179 yards on the ground and an additional 42 yards through the air. He's going to play a big role in this Bills offense moving forward and now he gets to face a Chargers defense that's 27th in opponent yards per play, giving up an average of 5.6 yards per snap.

I wouldn't be surprised if he soars over this number once again.

Josh Allen OVER 243.5 passing yards

Just because Josh Allen only threw the ball 15 times last week doesn't mean that's going to be the norm for this Bills offense moving forward. He should have some fun this week as I expect he'll be able to do what he wants to this Chargers defense that gives up 7.1 yards per pass attempt.

We could be getting this number at a "buy low" spot after the Bills stuck to the run game last week, so I'm going to take the OVER on it.

Austin Ekeler UNDER 38.5 rushing yards

If last week was any indication, Austin Ekeler's season is all but wrapped up. The Chargers have nothing left to play for at this point so they might as well see what they have in the second and third string guys like Joshua Kelley and Isaiah Spiller.

Ekeler had just five carries for nine yards last week and even if he gets some more carries on Saturday night, I don't expect him to go over this number. He's averaging an abysmal 3.6 yards per carry this season.
