Bills vs. Chargers best anytime touchdown scorer picks (James Cook’s offense?)

Breaking down the best players to find the end zone in the Buffalo Bills' Week 16 game vs. the Los Angeles Chargers.

The Buffalo Bills trounced the Dallas Cowboys last week, and they rode a run-heavy attack to make it happen.

Does that continue in Week 16 against a Los Angeles Chargers team that fired its head coach last week and is without Justin Herbert for the rest of the season?

It may, especially if the Bills get up early against a Chargers defense that has allowed 16 rushing scores in the 2023 season.

Here are my favorite Bills to find the end zone in Week 16:

Best anytime touchdown scorer picks for Bills vs. Chargers

  • James Cook anytime touchdown scorer
  • Josh Allen anytime touchdown scorer
  • Stefon Diggs anytime touchdown scorer

James Cook anytime touchdown scorer

James Cook was the entire Buffalo offense against Dallas, totaling 27 touches for 221 yards and two scores.

He’s now found the end zone in three of his last four games, and he gets a Chargers team that has been weak against the run all season long. Cook also has a bigger ceiling than most backs since he’s an impressive pass catcher.

I love him to score again in Week 16.

Josh Allen anytime touchdown scorer

Josh Allen has scored a rushing touchdown in seven of the last eight weeks, totaling eight rushing scores over that stretch.

The Bills have emphasized using him as a runner as of late, with Allen receiving eight or more carries in three straight games.

That could come in handy against a weak Chargers defense that gave up 63 points to Aidan O’Connell and the Las Vegas Raiders last week.

Stefon Diggs anytime touchdown scorer

Stefon Diggs hasn’t found the end zone in two weeks, but he’s the Bills’ No. 1 target in the passing game.

Assuming the team leans on the run again in Week 16, Diggs is the only receiver to truly trust in this offense. He still made four catches against Dallas and has 27 targets in his last three games.

I’ll take a shot on Diggs to find the end zone as he hasn’t gone more than two weeks at a time without a score this season.
