Bills vs. Bears prediction and odds for NFL preseason Week 3

The Bills and Josh Allen struggled last week against the Steelers and Buffalo is 1-1 this preseason. Allen went 7/10 for 64 yards, but did not lead a scoring drive.

Last week, Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills starters took the field in Pittsburgh, but weren’t very successful. So, Sean McDermott is giving them another chance, this time in Chicago. The Bills will visit the Bears for their final preseason tune up and will be playing their starters after last week’s loss. The Bills won their preseason opener and are 1-1 this preseason.

The Bears are also 1-1 after a loss to the Colts last week. Justin Fields did not see the field in that one and his status for this game is still up in the air as of this writing. Even if he plays, I expect limited action for the No. 1 QB in Chicago.

With the Bills playing their starters, they’re slight favorites. No matter what side you want to bet in this one, you can take advantage of this promo in the FanDuel Sportsbook.

Bills vs. Bears prediction and pick

With the Bills starting their first team in this one, I like Buffalo. The reigning AFC East champs should have a good showing after disappointing last week against Pittsburgh. The Steelers were stopping the Bills first team offense and Josh Allen without some of their best defenders on the field. That will be motivation for them against a much worse defense in this one.

I’d expect Allen and the first-teamers to get more than just one series, unless that series is perfect. As long as they put up some early points, the Bills will be in control because of the depth of their defensive line. Buffalo doesn’t really have any superstar pass-rushers, outside of Von Miller of course, but they do have a lot of depth with players like Boogie Basham and Gregory Rousseau.

The Bears are dealing with offensive line injuries and that’s a big reason they’re hesitant to start Fields in this preseason finale. Buffalo will be all over whoever is at quarterback and will get a convincing win.
