Bills Super Bowl 58 odds: Nobody wants to face Buffalo in NFL Playoffs
The Buffalo Bills have pulled off the improbable. After sitting at 6-6 heading into their Week 13 BYE, they finished the season on a 5-0 run to finish 11-6 and capturing the AFC East crown and securing the No. 2 seed in the AFC.
Now, they're all of a sudden the team that nobody wants to face in the postseason. Not only that, but they're one of the top favorites to win Super Bowl 58.
Bills odds to win Super Bowl 58
The Bills are +650 to win the Super Bowl at FanDuel Sportsbook. If you translate those odds to implied probability, the Bills have a 13.33% chance of winning it all. Only the San Francisco 49ers and Baltimore Ravens have better odds to win than the Bills.
If were to place a $100 bet on the Bills to lift the Vince Lombardi Trophy, you'd win a profit of $650 if they're able to achieve the feat.
Of all the teams who don't have a first round BYE, the Bills have the best path to the Divisional Round. They'll host the Steelers on Sunday, who many people would say is the worst team to secure a playoff spot. Buffalo is set as a 10-point favorite, the biggest favorite in the Wild Card Weekend.
Will the Bills win the Super Bowl?
Now that the Bills have gotten in the playoffs, the sky is the limit for them. They enter the playoffs with the best record against teams in the playoffs at 5-1. The only playoff team they lost to this season was the Philadelphia Eagles who they fell to in an overtime heartbreaker.
Not only are the Bills dangerous offensively, but their defense has been red-hot in the second half of the season. In fact, they rank fifth amongst all teams in opponent EPA dating back to Week 10. They absolutely have a chance to finally win the Super Bowl and based on the odds, they have the second best chance in the AFC.
Steelers vs. Bills odds
The Bills are set as 10-point favorites to the Steelers with the total set at 35.5. Based on their -480 moneyline odds, the Bills have an 82.76% channce of winning the game and advancing to the Divisional Round of the NFL playoffs.
Who will the Bills play in the Divisional Round?
By beating the Miami Dolphins in Week 18 and securing the No. 2 spot in the AFC Playoffs, the Bills have made sure that they will now host at least two playoff games, as long as they don't get upset by the Steelers in the Wild Card round.
The two teams the Bills have no chance of playing in the Divisional Round is the Baltimore Ravens and Miami Dolphins. The Ravens will host the lowest advancing seed and if the Dolphins beat the Chiefs, they will be the lowest advancing seed given the assumption the Bills down the Steelers.
If that happens, the Bills will play the winner of the Cleveland Browns vs. Houston Texans. The most likely scenario is Chiefs beat the Dolphins which would set up yet another classic playoff matchup between Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes.
