The Buffalo Bills' wide receiver group will look different in 2024 after the team traded Stefon Diggs and lost Gabe Davis in free agency. They brought in some help in the form of Curtis Samuel and he made the list of Tom Blair of NFL.com's players each fan base should root for.

Samuel hasn't been a superstar during his seven-year NFL career with his career-high in yards being 851 (2020) and career-high in touchdowns sitting at six (2019). Blair points out that Samuel is reuniting with Joe Brady in Buffalo and hopes that will help the former second-round pick ball out in his new home.

"As much as I love a good journeyman career marked by respectable production in chaotic environments, it would be great to see Samuel truly unlocked by offensive coordinator Joe Brady, under whom the receiver hit personal highs with the Panthers in 2020 (118 touches, 1,051 scrimmage yards). "

Curtis Samuel could be a new fan favorite in Buffalo

Samuel was a second-round pick by the Carolina Panthers in 2017 and had a lackluster rookie season. Joe Brady taking over as the Panthers offensive coordinator in 2020 made a huge difference for the Ohio State wideout, as he went over the 1,000-yard mark in scrimmage yards, a career-high for him.

Samuel moved onto the Commanders in 2021 and did all right in two of his three seasons there. He was mostly an overthought in free agency this year but the Bills clearly think he can make a difference for this new-look offense.

Samuel joins Khalil Shakir and first-round rookie Keon Coleman as the starting wide receivers for the Bills offense. It's an entirely new look for Josh Allen and the Bills but as fans have come to embrace, as long as Allen is quarterbacking this offense, the team is in good hands.

Yes, it'll be an adjustment having different faces at wide receiver but Samuel has proven in the past to be a reliable weapon. Hopefully reuniting with Joe Brady can bring out that 2020 version of Curtis Samuel and if that ends up happening, the Bills offense should be good to go.
