We're rolling right along now with the Bills 2024 NFL Draft. So far, they've added four new players, adding depth and potential day-one starters. The latest pick is Sedrick Van Pran-Granger with the 141st overall pick in the fifth round. Once again the Bills will be looking for mid to late-round gems, and Van Pran-Granger could be that guy. Will he push Connor McGovern for the starting role at center? Time will tell but he has a ton of experience and allowed only two sacks in his collegiate career, with zero in 2023. Sedrick Van Pran-Granger could be the next late-draft gem.
Van Pran-Granger has the accolades that say he could become a solid starting center in the NFL. He was second-team All-American in 2023, and first-team All-SEC. He's put together a 44-game starting streak and was a two-time team captain, showing he is leader material. What is Bills Mafia saying about the latest Bills addition.

This was just rude. Sedrick Van Pran-Granger delivering powerful blocks in the running game. He could be the future, leading the way for James Cook and the Bills rushing attack.

Van Pran-Granger bringing the power behind his blocks. Opposing would-be tacklers will not want to go head-to-head with this guy, or they may regret it.

Leadership is an underrated trait that doesn't get talked about enough. The Buffalo Bills are entering a new era and rebuilding the leadership in their locker room.
I think the draft process was too unkind to Sedrick Van Pran-Granger. Cut on the tape and he just balls. Tough as nails, smart. Awareness in pass pro is top notch. Lots of experience. He moves people at the point of attack. Doubles and climbs. Functional athlete. He's good.

Van Pran-Granger sounds like an Aaron Kromer type of guy and fits the Bills culture that Brandon Beane and Coach McDermott covet. I can see this guy taking over in year one, which isn't a bad thing. Buffalo needs to add depth and Van Pran-Granger could allow that to happen, whether he starts or doesn't.
