With the bulk of the headlines being over with in the NFL offseason, now fans of the Buffalo Bills can turn their attention to the summer months.

It's time for OTAs and training camp, before we get set for the preseason and then, finally, the regular season.

Now that we know the entire schedule, let's look ahead just a bit and try to predict how the Bills will finish out the first month of the season.

The Buffalo Bills should end September without a loss

Week 1 @ New York Jets

In one of the most anticipated games of Week 1, Aaron Rodgers and the New York Jets host the Bills in prime time. As is usual, it takes new quarterback/team relationships a bit to warm up and Rodgers will make one or two mistakes in this game.

Josh Allen won't be free from mistakes, though, as the Jets defense features a young, exciting unit that's only ascending. it's a divisional matchup that should end up being lower scoring than fans would like, but the Bills escape with a hard-fought victory.

Prediction: Bills 17 Jets 14

Week 2 vs. Las Vegas Raiders

The Bills ride their primetime victory over Rodgers into a home matchup with the Las Vegas Raiders, who are also starting a new quarterback this season in Jimmy Garoppolo. The Raiders are stuck in mediocrity, unfortunately, and will be the same old Raiders this coming season.

Buffalo is the better team and will take advantage of one of the league's worst passing defenses last season, when Las Vegas ranked as the fourth-worst unit in football. Allen is going to have himself a game, but Stefon Diggs will be the real star here. He's going for 150 yards and two scores as the Bills roll to 2-0.

Prediction: Bills 34 Raiders 20

Week 3 @ Washington Commanders

The Commanders are in a weird spot where they're unsure who their quarterback of the future is. It might not be Sam Howell, and it definitely isn't Jacoby Brissett. Nonetheless, it doesn't matter who it is in this one, because the Bills are going to win the game.

Washington is a sneaky team and could make it a tough battle, especially with such an underrated defense with a phenomenal front. But, Buffalo's elite offensive playmakers will simply be too much for the Commanders. Josh Allen will find a way to score three times, en route to a 3-0 record for September.

Prediction: Bills 30 Commanders 17

The Bills will enter a Week 4 matchup with the Miami Dolphins riding an undefeated start in September, and look to extend the streak against Tua Tagovailoa and a high-flying group of offensive stars.
