AFC East tight end rooms ranked from worst to best in 2023

Still one of the more under-appreciated positions in football, tight ends across the AFC East and the league has submerged themselves as an important piece to a teams’ success on offense. They can be used as a security blanket on third down to help move the chains, they can be utilized outside of the hash marks, and they can also be used as an extra blocker to protect the quarterback or running back.
The Buffalo Bills gave a four-year, $52 million dollar contract extension to Dawson Knox last season and then drafted Dalton Kincaid with their first round pick this past NFL draft. To say the least, these kinds of moves are not necessarily common under the Bills management so this new approach with the tight end position will be interesting to keep an eye on.
As for the rest of the division, the tight end rooms will look a little bit more different than last season. Ranked from worst to best, here are the rankings for the tight end rooms in the AFC East.
