Christian Benford/Dane Jackson
Unfortunately, Jordan Poyer wouldn't be the only injury the Buffalo Bills were forced to deal with in the secondary in this game. It started in the first half as Christian Benford left the game due to a shoulder injury and got an x-ray during the game.
However, the injury wasn't as serious as initially concerned and he returned in the second half. The reason he returned though was because the Bills would lose their top cornerback, Tre'Davious White, to a torn Achilles that will cost him the remainder of the season.
By the end of the game, it would be Dane Jackson, who initially replaced Benford, and Christian Benford as the starting cornerbacks. Even though the Bills were dealing with a number of injuries it didn't stop them from shutting down Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle, who combined for less than 120 receiving yards.
It will be interesting to see how the secondary looks moving forward without their best player but it was a promising start with Dane Jackson and Christian Benford.
