The Buffalo Bills secured their biggest win of the season with a 48-20 victory over the Miami Dolphins. The Bills have now won three straight and moved into first place in the AFC East.

However, it appears they have suffered a pretty significant loss in the process as cornerback Tre'Davious White left the game early due to an injury. It was later reported by ESPN's Jeff Darlington, that the fear is White tore his Achilles.

If that is the case, he will miss the remainder of the 2023 season and creates a major hole for this secondary. The Bills lost Tre'Davious White back in 2021 due to a torn ACL and wasn't until almost one year later that he was able to return.

It looked like he was still trying to return to his All-Pro form last season but this year was once again that lockdown corner. It is a pretty devasting blow, for both Tre'Davious White and the Buffalo Bills.

At this point, the most likely path forward is for the Buffalo Bills to have Dane Jackson and Christian Benford start with Kaiir Elam now being active and the backup. The Bills also probably will call up Ja'Marcus Ingram from their practice squad if White is placed on injured reserve, which seems likely at this point.

However, the team also could bring in veterans this week for more depth at the position.
