2.) Nine offensive linemen make it, including Alec Anderson and Ryan Van Demark

Part of an offense’s success is to make sure the quarterback is protected as well as possible. The Bills decided to bring on nine offensive linemen that included preseason standouts Alec Anderson and Ryan Van Demark.

Anderson displayed versatility in playing both inside and outside across the line this preseason. Van Demark was also impressed with his ability to protect the outside of the pocket. The Bills seem to not be messing around with the protection for Josh Allen. Should an injury occur on the offensive line, the Bills will be able to plug in one of these guys to keep stability upfront.

As expected, the Bills brought on their projected starting line in Dion Dawkins, Connor McGovern, Mitch Morse, O’Cyrus Torrence/Ryan Bates, and Spencer Brown. They also kept David Edwards for more depth at guard. The offensive line will be the team’s biggest x-factor and it will start with them making sure their franchise guy stays upright.
