New York Giants' pass defense is average at best
The Giants' defense has struggled against the pass and the defense simply hasn't been good. With no real pass rush to speak of, the Giants' secondary isn't getting any help from the boys in the trenches. The Giants rank 20th in the NFL in pass defense.
The Giants have no one capable of staying with Stefon Diggs and if they try to double him or cover him with bracket coverage, Allen will find Gabe Davis instead. Davis is 22nd in the league with 320 receiving yards and has four touchdowns. His 17.8 yards per reception ranks seventh in the NFL among players with at least 20-plus targets.
