The Buffalo Bills have completed training camp and their preseason slate of games. They won two of three and looked solid in those two performances but the game against the Steelers brought out some concerns among the fans.

But with preseason, it's not about winning or losing, it's about players staking their claim to make the team's final 53-man roster. Some players perform well and others don't show up, making the coach's job a little easier. With teams like the Bills, young players have a harder time making the roster or even earning starting roles, because the team is already deep at several positions.

The Bills have a few positions battle and some of the players in those positions had strong performances during the preseason, which we'll get into shortly but unfortunately for the Bills, no one in the middle linebacker position stepped up and separated themselves from the contenders.

The injury that Terrell Bernard suffered may have caused him an opportunity at the starting role since he wasn't able to get on the field; however, neither Baylon Spector nor Tyrel Dodson were able to take advantage of the increased opportunities. It will be interesting to see what Buffalo does at the middle linebacker spot. Needless to say, you won't find any of the middle linebackers on this list.
