The injuries continue for the Bills defense
In the same play, both Taron Johnson and Taylor Rapp were injured, with Rapp leaving the field in an ambulance; however, stayed in the locker room and did not need to leave the stadium to the hospital. We also saw Christian Benford and Dane Jackson at separate times slow to get up. Yet despite all the injuries, this defense continues to shine. Buffalo's front seven was dominant, recording six sacks and eight quarterback hits.
Rasul Douglas should be the AFC Defensive Player of the Week, turning in two interceptions and a fumble recovery, and having a part in all three turnovers. He also had two solo tackles and three pass breakups. Ed Oliver was a force too, adding three solo tackles, a sack, a tackle for a loss, and a quarterback hit. It would be great to see the Bills get through a game without helping players off the field but if you have doubts about the coaching job that Coach McDermott is doing, then I don't know what to tell you.
