5 free agent safeties the Buffalo Bills could pair with Taylor Rapp
Mike Edwards
Mike Edwards is a two-time Super Bowl champion after winning his first his rookie season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He won another ring this past season with the Kansas City Chiefs where he was a backup for most of the season before stepping in as a full-time starter in the playoffs.
In four games during the playoffs, Edwards had 12 total tackles, two passes defended and one interception. However, he didn't play much in the game against the Buffalo Bills as he left with an injury only two plays into the game.
In five seasons, Edwards has started double digit regular season games only once in his career but when he has been a starter he has done a good job. When considering the Bills might not have much salary cap room, adding a player like Edwards with his Super Bowl experience on a reasonable contract could make sense.
