3.) Bills win the AFC East with no issue
With all of the players the Bills lost this offseason, there is a true debate as to who will win the AFC East next season. The Dolphins still have their premier passing attack and the Jets will have Aaron Rodgers back under center with an improved offensive line.
When it comes to the Patriots, it is safe to say that no one expects them to win the division anytime soon (but we have seen the impossible become possible before). Buffalo had to win out last season to win the AFC East while hoping that the Dolphins would lose some games and that very scenario became true. The Bills clinched their fourth consecutive division title in a Week 18 win against Miami.
The AFC East is up for grabs this season, but we have seen expected battles become one-sided before. If the Bills are able to stay ahead of the rest of the AFC East and get a little bit of help along the way, it will help keep the Bills away from a massive amount of pressure during the season. There is nothing worse than when a close division battle is happening and one crucial mistake and cost a team a chance to win the division.
