5 dream scenarios for Bills to make 2024 the best season in franchise history

5.) Keon Coleman’s production makes Stefon Diggs trade an afterthought
Maybe some of the Bills Mafia, or most, are moved on from Stefon Diggs after being traded to the Houston Texans. The Bills had major success with Diggs since 2020 but the last two seasons have been drama-filled where Diggs found himself at the center of it.
With Diggs out of town, the Bills went ahead and drafted his hopeful replacement in rookie wide receiver Keon Coleman. Josh Allen has a new big receiver in which Bills fans are hoping for an immediate connection on the field.
If Allen and Coleman can create production that helps the Bills’ offense stay at an elite level, there is no doubt that any thoughts about getting rid of Diggs was a no-brainer. This is not to say that Diggs won’t produce in Houston on a contract year, but if Coleman can make an immediate impact for the Bills, the Diggs trade will look smart for Buffalo because of the compensation they got back in a 2025 second-round pick.
