Josh Allen

Without question, Josh Allen is the leader of this franchise and has to set the tone early for the Buffalo Bills. The offense has struggled at the start of games and it was more of the same against the Patriots with Allen throwing an interception on the very first pass attempt in the game for him.

When looking at the Bills three game win streak, one of the themes was the team able to jump out to an early lead and in each of those games had a double-digit lead at halftime. This allows the Bills to set the flow of the game, both on offense and defense.

On the offensive side of the ball, the Bills can establish the run with James Cook and the other running backs. However, on defense it allows them to be more aggressive because the other team is trying to play catch up. This means more throws and more chances for the pass rush to pressure the quarterback and force him into bad throws.

If Josh Allen can set the tone early, it will get the Buffalo Bills back on track collectively as a team.
