The Buffalo Bills are not only looking to beat the Kansas City Chiefs for the second time this season, they will be looking for their first playoff win over the Chiefs since the 1993 season when they won in the AFC Championship Game. The Bills have lost their last two playoff games against Kansas City, which have been more recent during the 2020 and 2021 seasons.

The biggest difference this week compared to the last two games, is that this will be a home game for the Buffalo Bills. They are going to have the full support of BillsMafia behind them but it could be up to these five players whether or not they come away with a win.

Josh Allen

The obvious first answer is quarterback Josh Allen and he could be under the most pressure among any of the players on the Bills, justified or not. The rivalry between Allen and Patrick Mahomes seems to be on its way to mirroring that of Tom Brady and Peyton Manning.

Patrick Mahomes has had more playoff success while Josh Allen puts up some incredible stat lines, with his ability to make plays with his arm while also running the ball. In their playoff matchups, Allen has been as good, if not better, than Mahomes but the Chiefs have found a way to win late.

A win over the Kansas City Chiefs in this game will go a long way of showing that this team is capable to get over the hump and past the team that has been the gold standard of the AFC for roughly the past five years.
