We could have definitely put Josh Allen on this list, but that would be too easy and obvious. He had a great first and only drive, leading the Bills down the field on a 12-play, 72-yard drive and finishing with a touchdown. On the drive, he was 5 of 7 for 49 yards, including an impressive 15-yard strike to Gabe Davis to convert a 3rd and 8 in the redzone.

This was a game the Bills starting unit needed to get rolling and ready for the start of the NFL season and their opener on Monday Night against the New Jersey Jets. As a team, they totaled 382 yards, but it was their ground game that was most notable, which is good to see.

Several players also needed this game to make what they hoped were strong enough impressions to make the team's final 53-man roster. Cut-down day is Tuesday, August 29th and there will be some good players that ultimately won't make the team, but could be plucked away by other teams based on their performance.

The Buffalo Bills preseason is finally over and now we look forward to cut-down day and see who makes the squad and who doesn't but until then, let's get into five players that stood out in this final game and make their case to make the final roster.
