Buffalo Bills players who will be cut before 2023 season: S Zayne Anderson

The Bills have quite a few big names all around their roster, but at safety, there are a pair of names that will be held near and dear to Bills fans' hearts forever, now. One, of course, is Jordan Poyer, whom the Bills decided to bring back for another run instead of allowing him to sign elsewhere as a free agent.

The other one is Damar Hamlin, and by now, we all know his story. Hamlin, though, is a reserve and sits behind starter Micah Hyde. Being a valuable backup, though, and now making an impressive comeback, Hamlin isn't going anywhere, regardless of his story.

The fourth safety is newly-signed Taylor Rapp, who can be a very versatile player for Buffalo depending on the situation. Rapp was a former second-round pick just four years ago, and is still a highly-talented player deserving of a spot on an NFL roster, if not some meaningful playing time.

For the past two seasons, Zayne Anderson has spent his career in Kansas City. Unfortunately for him, he won't last long in Buffalo due to the depth ahead of him. He'll be a nice camp body and possibly a practice squad candidate, but the depth at safety is too good for Anderson to surpass.
