While the Buffalo Bills roster has gone through some significant changes this offseason, the goal for the upcoming season is still the same. That is a trip to the Super Bowl and a Lombardi Trophy for the first time in franchise history.

If the Bills want to do that they will need another big season from stars like Josh Allen but will need some surprises along the way. These are five players that could fall into that category.

Von Miller

It is hard to imagine that Von Miller would be on a list like this but it also seemed hard to imagine that Miller would play 10 or more games in a season and not be able to register at least one sack. However, that was the case last season with no sacks and only three QB hits in 14 games.

The former All-Pro was working his way back from a torn ACL the season prior and the injury impacted his performance longer than anyone expected. The good news is that typically players are much better the second year removed from that type of injury. Tre'Davious White is a perfect example of that as he struggled in his first year after the ACL but before his Achilles injury last season, he was playing at a much higher level.

This offseason the Bills and Miller were able to agree to a re-negotiated contract and this could end up being the best solution. It gives Von Miller another chance to prove he can be that disruptor pass rusher and the Bills could get a key part of their defense back.
