2.) Defensive end - Shaq Lawson

Lawson’s career started out with the Bills, but he has played for various teams across the league before coming back to the Bills for a second stint. Lawson is at a position that the Bills had trouble getting production out of, and the Bills love to rotate their edge rushers throughout games.

Even though Lawson can cause disruption (3.5 sacks last season), I believe that this could just be too many guys at the same position. With Gregory Rousseau, Von Miller, recently signed Leonard Floyd, Boogie Basham, and A.J. Epenesa, Lawson could be the odd man out. 

The Bills know that in the AFC, there are star quarterbacks that they will be facing and they need a consistent edge rush. Lawson is more of a run stopper which is helpful, but maybe not so much in the 4th quarter. Rousseau, Miller and Floyd are more likely to make the roster, which will put everyone else up in the danger zone of not making the roster.
