4.) O’Cyrus Torrence

The Bills’ second round pick has arguably been the best rookie this season in Buffalo. He has brought stability to an offensive line that has been shaky at best with Josh Allen behind center, and has not allowed much pressure this season.

There has only been one game this season, against the New England Patriots, where Torrence looked like a rookie as defensive tackle Christian Barmore brought consistent pressure. Aside from that matchup, Torrence has looked like a veteran upfront. It also helps that Torrence has shown the ability to get to the second level to create more running room.

The Buffalo offensive line has some tough matchups coming up in the next few weeks which includes the Bengals, Jets, and Eagles. Torrence and the rest of the big guys up front will need to keep the pocket clean for Allen if the Bills’ offense wants to keep improving from their recent performances.

3.) A.J. Epenesa

Right behind Floyd in terms of sacks, A.J. Epenesa has recorded 5 this season which is just 1.5 sacks behind his season high from last year. He has stepped up in his contract year with not just getting to the quarterback, but also playing the line of scrimmage like a pro.

In addition to 5 sacks, he has 6 pass deflections as well (3 in Week 5 against Jacksonville). Epenesa has come alive this season and it has benefited the Buffalo defense that has faced a lot of injuries. While it is more than likely that Epenesa will spend this final season in Buffalo, if he continues to step up like he has in the first half this season, he will get paid by someone this offseason.
