2.) The Bills’ running game is bigger than the passing game

While there is an expectation of back-and-forth football between two quarterbacks who can light up the scoreboard, the Bills should really consider making this game a run-first approach. The Bengals are having trouble stopping the run this season (giving up over 140 yards on the ground in seven games). The Bills have been successful in their five wins this season when they run the ball effectively and averaging over 100 yards on the ground.

James Cook could be relied on to help establish the run game early, but the Bills should also run the ball often. If the Bengals are not able to contain the run and force Josh Allen to drop back in the pocket, why not put the game on someone else for a change?

In addition, it can also help reduce the injury to Allen’s shoulder which is something that he has been dealing with since Week 6 against the New York Giants.
