How many times have we heard this saying throughout the history of this game? This rule applies to Pop Warner Football, High School, College, and NFL. It should be a simple concept but sometimes, quarterbacks get over-competitive and believe they can hit the big play every single snap. This seemed to be the case with Allen last year.

I have a belief that Gabe Davis is going to have a breakout season and be that wide receiver we all expected to see last year. But in this game, I want to see Allen attack the Jets' defense with a quick, short-passing attack. I want to see a lot of Dalton Kincaid, and James Cook in the flat and whoever the slot receiver is, hit those underneath passes and just move the chains, and wear out of the Jets' defense.
