The defensive end might be one of the bigger roster needs for the Buffalo Bills entering this offseason. At the top of the depth chart is Greg Rousseau, who has been a consistent presence at the position and steadily improved every year since being drafted in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft.
However, after Rousseau, the concerns start to really become an issue. The hope is that Von Miller will be able to bounce back in 2024 and the former All-Pro certainly believes he will after renegotiating a contract that lowered his guaranteed but he could actually earn even more in incentives.
The only other defensive end under contract for 2024 is Kingsley Jonathan, who has looked good in limited snaps but shouldn't be expected to be the third defensive end. The other three defensive ends the Bills had last season were A.J. Epenesa, Leonard Floyd, and Shaq Lawson but all three are set to be free agents.
The Bills need depth at the position and they may need to go bargain shopping to address the position.
