Can Tre'Davious White rebound back to being a top cornerback in the NFL?

As mentioned previously, the Buffalo Bills defense is different when Tre'Davious White is on the field and playing at a high level. Prior to his ACL injury in 2021, White was one of the top cornerbacks in the league and was coming off back-to-back Pro Bowl seasons in 2019 and 2020.

The reason that White is so critical to this defense is that he regularly lines up against the top wide receiver of the opposing team. He usually wins this battle and doesn't need much help from the safeties over the top which frees them up to help the other side of the field or try to spy the quarterback.

Tre'Davious White would return on Thanksgiving last season against the Detroit Lions but he still looked to be working his way back and gaining confidence on that knee. He showed improvements as the season went along but now that he is about a year and a half away from the injury, this is the season that he should be able to return to that All-Pro level.

If he is able to do to that it opens up so much for Sean McDermott as he takes over play-calling this season.
