It has been a tough offseason for Josh Allen as the Buffalo Bills have moved on from several players he has had around him on the offensive side of the ball. The headline departures were certainly Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis but they also had to release center Mitch Morse, who has been with the team since 2019.

There will certainly be an adjustment period for the franchise quarterback as he needs to get on the same page with receivers like Curtis Samuel, who they signed as a free agent, as well as Connor McGovern, who is expected to be the starting center this upcoming season.

The Bills weren't able to add much else on that side of the ball in free agency due to limited cap space. However, general manager Brandon Beane could make up for it next week during the NFL Draft if they were able to draft a couple of these four prospects.

Ladd McConkey

Ladd McConkey is an interesting pick for the Buffalo Bills, not necessarily because he is a bad player but more how he fits within the current receiver room. The Bills already have players like Curtis Samuel and Khalil Shakir who are smaller wide receivers that fit best in the slot.

However, McConkey is probably the best of the three receivers and a player of his caliber wouldn't be a bad thing. If the Bills were to draft him, the coaching staff can figure out how they work together over the summer leading into the 2024 season.

McConkey is a shifty wide receiver who does a great job creating separation with his route running. The combination of McConkey and Dalton Kincaid would really create challenges for defenses on third down and give Josh Allen two reliable pass-catchers on that pivotal down.
