Wide Receiver

The obvious one is wide receiver as the Buffalo Bills have almost completely overhauled the position this offseason. Their leading receiver from the past four seasons is now with the Houston Texans after Stefon Diggs was traded earlier this month and their second-leading receiver, Gabe Davis, signed as a free agent with the Jacksonville Jaguars at the start of free agency.

The Bills have tried to do their best to minimize the losses by signing free agents Curtis Samuel and Mack Hollins and the team still has Khalil Shakir and Justin Shorter. However, it seemed that the way the front office wanted to address the wide receiver position was always going to be through the NFL Draft.

Brandon Beane since joining the Bills hasn't really prioritized the position and in fact, has never drafted a receiver earlier than Round 4. That seems likely to change and the Bills will probably draft one with their first or second-round pick.

While Beane has waited, he has proven that he knows where to find good wide receivers in the later rounds like Davis (fourth-round pick) or Shakir (fifth-round pick). If the Bills draft a receiver early, they should look to add more depth to the position on Day 3.
