It feels like it is almost a foregone conclusion that the Buffalo Bills are going to be drafting a wide receiver in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft. This is not something that general manager Brandon Beane has done yet but after trading Stefon Diggs and losing Gabe Davis, the team will need to add more talent to the position.

The good news is that this is a really strong group of wide receivers in this year's class but the bad news is that the Bills currently are near the end of the first round with the 28th overall pick. As the first round plays out, Brandon Beane should keep an eye on these five teams that might have their sights set on a wide receiver.

Arizona Cardinals

A majority of the first 10 picks should be either quarterbacks or wide receivers and for the Bills, they need to be rooting for quarterbacks to be picked. It means there is a better chance of one of the Top 3 wide receivers (Marvin Harrison Jr., Malik Nabers, Rome Odunze) slipping out of the Top 10.

The first team to watch is the Arizona Cardinals at number four because they would likely be the logical landing spot for Marvin Harrison Jr. However, it would make sense for them to trade back with a team that is desperate for a quarterback, especially if the first three picks are quarterbacks.

Depending on how far they trade back, the Cardinals might still want to take a wide receiver but could pivot to another position. If the Cardinals do not pick a wide receiver with their first-round pick, Buffalo still needs to worry about them as they have the 27th overall pick, which is one spot in front of the Bills.
